abstract | The present invention relates to a diagnostic means and a diagnostic method. Specifically, the present invention is a method for monitoring a subject suffering from heart failure, wherein (a) the amount of each of the following peptides is repeatedly measured at predetermined time intervals in a sample of the subject: Step: NT-proANP or a variant thereof, NT-proBNP or a variant thereof, cardiac troponin or a variant thereof, GDF-15 or a variant thereof, (b) In each measurement of each marker described in step (a) Comparing the measured amount and comparing the amount to a reference amount, and (c) whether the subject is stable or pathophysiological based on the difference in one or more measured amounts of the marker A method comprising the step of evaluating whether a change occurs.
