abstract |
The present invention provides a structural adhesive that suppresses a decrease in shear strength and peel strength and can apply an electrodeposition coating to a cured surface without increasing viscosity and specific gravity. The present invention provides an epoxy resin comprising at least a rubber-modified epoxy resin and a latent curing agent as a main component, containing an ionic liquid, and the content of the ionic liquid is the epoxy resin. The structural adhesive is 1 part by mass or more and 30 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass. Since electrodeposition coating properties can be achieved without minimizing deterioration in physical properties and without increasing the viscosity and specific gravity, it is possible to maintain adhesion to substrates and other adherends while maintaining electrodeposition coating properties.
