titleOfInvention Amorphous titania sol and method for producing the same
abstract A titania sol having high transparency and high temporal stability and a method for producing the same are provided. A transparent basic amorphous titania sol having a haze value of 10% or less at a TiO 2 concentration of 5% is provided. In addition, the amorphous titanium oxide hydrate is treated with mono-, di- or trialkylamine having an alkyl group of 5 or less or tetraalkylammonium hydroxide in the presence of water until an amorphous titania sol is formed. A process for producing the amorphous titania sol. [Selection] Figure 1
