PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: The present invention has an excellent heat resistance, can be patterned with a dilute alkaline aqueous solution, and can use an ordinary organic solvent as a solvent. Provided is an active energy ray-curable resin composition capable of reducing development residue. SOLUTION: A branched polyimide resin (1) having a carboxy group and / or an acid anhydride group, an esterified product of an epoxy compound (2a) and an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid (2b) has two or more carboxy groups. An active energy ray-curable resin composition containing a polymerizable resin (2) having a carboxy group obtained by reacting a polycarboxylic acid anhydride (2c) and an organic solvent (3).
