Provided is a curable resin composition using a β-alkylglycidyl compound and having excellent curability, electrical characteristics and environmental resistance. (A) β-alkylglycidyl ether compound and (B) A curable resin composition containing a cationic polymerization initiator, wherein the component (A) is bisphenol A bis (β-methylglycidyl ether), bisphenol F bis (β-methylglycidyl ether). And a curable resin composition selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the following general formula (I): R in the general formula (I) 1 and R 2 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and m and n each independently represents a number of 1 to 10.
