An object of the present invention is to provide a simple method for producing hollow particles. (Meth) acrylic acid having a branched alkyl group having 4 to 18 carbon atoms in 100 parts by weight of a (meth) acrylic acid ester monomer mixture containing 5 to 50% by weight of a crosslinkable vinyl monomer.
