abstract | A product having a high content of a silsesquioxane compound as a target product (high purity) can be obtained by suppressing the formation of by-products, and further, variation in purity of the product can be reduced. To provide a method for producing a hydrosilyl compound using an H group-containing silicon compound and a carboxylic acid allyl ester as raw materials. A method for producing a hydrosilyl compound according to the present invention is a method for producing a hydrosilyl compound in which a Si—H group-containing silicon compound and a carboxylic acid allyl ester compound are hydrosilylated, wherein the Si—H group-containing silicon compound is used. And a contact step of contacting 2 to 100 mol of the carboxylic acid allyl ester compound in terms of allyl group with respect to 1 mol of Si-H group of the Si-H group-containing silicon compound. .
