titleOfInvention | Production method of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) using wood saccharified solution by halophilic bacteria |
abstract | [PROBLEMS] To remove fermentation inhibitors such as Furans, acetic acid, and Phenols contained in wood saccharified liquid, even though wood saccharified liquid becomes an effective resource for producing polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHAs). There was a problem, and the effective utilization of wood saccharified liquid was not made. A method for producing PHAs or the like using a wood saccharified solution by a halophilic bacterium, wherein the halophilic bacterium is grown in a single or a plurality of pH 8.8 to 11 medium containing a wood saccharified solution and dried. A method for producing PHAs that produces 50% or more by weight of PHAs based on body weight. And a method of producing PHAs at a rate of 50% by weight or more based on the weight of dry cells by growth in a medium having a pH of 8.8 to 11 consisting of an inorganic salt and a wood saccharified solution or a single organic carbon source.
