Electrolytic device based on electrolyte by solution process. The present disclosure relates to a solid electrolyte device that includes an amorphous chalcogenide solid active electrolyte layer and first and second metal layers. The amorphous chalcogenide solid active electrolytic layer is disposed between the first metal layer and the second metal layer. The amorphous chalcogenide solid active electrolytic layer obtains a solution of a hydrazine-based precursor of a metal chalcogenide, applies the solution onto a substrate, and then anneals the precursor to convert the precursor into an amorphous metal chalcogenide.
