abstract |
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a method for producing a polyester having a suppressed hue and a good hue. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a polyester in which polycarboxylic acid A or an ester-forming derivative of polycarboxylic acid A is subjected to an esterification reaction or transesterification reaction using a polyol as a raw material and then a polycondensation reaction. This can be solved by a method for producing a polyester characterized in that polycarboxylic acid B is added after completion of the conversion reaction or after completion of the transesterification reaction.
