abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a copolymerized polyester resin having excellent color tone and reduced generation of foreign substances in copolymerizing a dicarboxylic acid component for imparting gas barrier properties. SOLUTION: A dicarboxylic acid component containing terephthalic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof as a main component and phenylenedioxydiacetic acid as a copolymer component, and a diol component are polycondensed through an esterification reaction or a transesterification reaction. In producing the copolymerized polyester resin, phenylenedioxydiacetic acid, any of from the start of the esterification reaction or transesterification reaction of the dicarboxylic acid component and the diol component except phenylenedioxydiacetic acid to before the start of the polycondensation reaction. A method for producing a copolymerized polyester resin which is added in the presence of an esterification or transesterification reaction product at that time and after the addition of a phosphorus compound as a stabilizer and before the addition of a polycondensation catalyst. |
