titleOfInvention | Medical device having a lubricious surface and method of manufacturing the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: In the manufacture of a guide wire for treatment and the like, various methods for reducing the thickness of a coating resin layer as much as possible have been studied so far, but it is difficult to ensure lubrication durability itself. Furthermore, there is a problem that the lubrication durability is lowered by calcium ions in the blood. The present invention realizes a medical device having a new function that is excellent in lubrication durability even when coated on a metal substrate in a thin film, and that does not decrease lubrication durability against calcium ions in blood. The object of the present invention is achieved by immobilizing a maleic anhydride copolymer compound having a specific amide bond on the surface of a base material constituting a medical device.
