The present invention relates to a method for making a fingerprint of a cured coating less noticeable while having a low reflectivity and a coating strength, a fingerprint-resistant coating material composition capable of forming a cured coating that is less noticeable for fingerprint stain, and the cured coating. Provided is a coated product formed on the outermost surface of a substrate. A substrate using a coating material composition containing porous silica fine particles, a hydrolyzate or partial hydrolyzate of a tetrafunctional alkoxysilane, and a hydrolyzable silane compound having a phenyl group.
