In producing a conjugated diene by a catalytic oxidative dehydrogenation reaction of a monoolefin, corrosion of a device and decomposition of the solvent by water in a solvent recovery process of the conjugated diene is prevented. A method for producing a conjugated diene comprising the following steps (A) to (D). Step (A): A raw material gas containing a monoolefin having 4 or more carbon atoms and a molecular oxygen-containing gas are supplied to a reactor, and the corresponding conjugated diene produced by an oxidative dehydrogenation reaction in the presence of a catalyst. Step (B): Step of cooling the gas containing the conjugated diene obtained in Step (A) Step (C): Step of dehydrating the gas cooled in Step (B) Step (D) : Step of recovering conjugated diene by bringing the gas dehydrated in step (C) into contact with a solvent [selection] FIG. |
