titleOfInvention Endoscope system and drive control method thereof
abstract An object of the present invention is to enable a strict comparison for diagnosis of a normal captured image and a special captured image. A motion detection circuit 45 analyzes image data from a DSP 40 and detects the amount of relative motion of a site to be observed. The CPU 41 compares the detection result of the motion detection circuit 45 with the threshold value. When the detection result of the motion detection circuit 45 is equal to or less than the threshold value, the normal illumination light source 50 and the special illumination light source 51 of the light source device 12 are alternately turned on and off in units of the accumulation period of the solid-state imaging device 23. On the other hand, when the detection result of the motion detection circuit 45 exceeds the threshold value, the special illumination light source 51 is turned off under the instruction of the CPU 41, and the irradiation of the special illumination light is stopped. Further, the display control circuit 46 performs a parallel display of a moving image of the normal captured image or a moving image of the normal captured image and a still image of the special captured image when the special illumination light is stopped.
