abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe a fluorescent part and a background part with appropriate colors and brightness at the time of fluorescent observation. A special light observation system is provided with excitation light having a peak waveform having a predetermined wavelength for exciting a fluorescent substance and background light having a plurality of peak waveforms having wavelengths located on the long wavelength side of the excitation light having a peak waveform having a predetermined wavelength. It has a transmission characteristic to transmit and a first cutoff value below a predetermined wavelength value on the short wavelength side from the peak value of the fluorescence wavelength emitted by the fluorescent material, and cuts light having a wavelength greater than or equal to the first cutoff value.
