titleOfInvention | Hydrophobic inorganic oxide and rubber composition using the same |
abstract | The present invention provides a rubber composition having low heat build-up and excellent wear resistance. SOLUTION: Hydrophilic inorganic oxide particles such as silica are surfaced with a sulfide silane coupling agent, an organic silane compound (for example, an aminosilane compound) and a hydrophobizing agent (for example, a carboxylic acid compound, an alkyl ketene dimer, or a diisocyanate compound). Hydrophobic inorganic oxide obtained by treatment, sulfide silane coupling agent bonded to hydroxyl group on particle surface, and hydrophobizing agent bonded to hydroxyl group on particle surface via organosilane compound Is a hydrophobic inorganic oxide. A rubber composition is prepared by mixing the hydrophobic inorganic oxide and rubber. [Selection figure] None |
