abstract |
A block copolymer comprising a fluoropolymer segment and a hydrophilic polymer segment mainly composed of a vinyl alcohol component is provided, and an emulsifier and emulsion composition for the fluoropolymer are provided. A fluorine-based polymer segment and vinyl are obtained by subjecting a vinyl ester monomer to iodine transfer polymerization in the presence of a fluorine-based polymer having an iodine atom at a terminal and saponifying a vinyl ester component of the obtained block copolymer. A block copolymer comprising a hydrophilic polymer segment containing an alcohol component as a main component is obtained. [Selection figure] None |
