abstract A method for producing a pneumatic tire with reduced road noise and a pneumatic tire produced by the method are provided. A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire is a method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire having a foam molded body 8 on an inner surface of the tire, and the foam molded body having a high heat resistance temperature is pre-vulcanized via an adhesive. It is fixed to the inner surface of the member, and then the foamed molded product and the tire are integrally vulcanized. The foamed molded body is preferably a silicone rubber sponge, and the adhesive is preferably an aminosilane coupling agent. [Selection] Figure 1
