abstract An object of the present invention is to obtain a high-quality base fabric for a silicone-coated air bag having excellent silicone resin adhesion and low cost. The amount of residual oil in the base fabric is 0.1% by weight or less, the total amount of phosphoric acid in the residual oil is 0.4% by weight or less, and the total amount of sulfuric acid is 0.4% by weight or less. A base fabric for a silicone-coated airbag, wherein the content of the silicone compound is 2.2% by weight or less. In addition, the method includes a step of producing a raw yarn by attaching a spinning oil containing a specific component to a synthetic fiber after spinning, and a step of weaving with a water jet loom, an air jet loom or a rapier loom using the raw yarn.
