PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel tumor marker (pancreatic cancer marker) useful for detection of pancreatic cancer and a highly specific method for determining pancreatic cancer using the same. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The present invention (1) detects a fucosylated sugar chain that is bound to the 184th asparagine or / and the 211th asparagine from the N-terminal of the amino acid sequence of human haptoglobin. (2) at least one N in a four-branched sugar chain containing a sugar chain structure (sequence) represented by the following structural formula [III] present in human haptoglobin and present on the non-reducing terminal side -Pancreatic cancer marker in which acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) is fucosylated And (3) a pancreatic cancer determination method characterized by detecting the pancreatic cancer marker described in (2) above present in a biological sample.
