[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The agent for preventing or treating gastrointestinal ulcer according to the present invention is obtained by treating cheese enzymatic decomposition products (EMC), that is, cheese obtained by fermenting various milks such as cows and goats with various lipases and proteases. The decomposed product is contained as an active ingredient. This prophylactic / therapeutic agent suppresses the occurrence of ulcers in the stomach, duodenum and small intestine and has a healing effect on ulcers. [Selection] Figure 3
