abstract | The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a conductive roller capable of preventing a paint from flowing into an end portion of a cylindrical substrate during coating formation of an elastic layer. Further, the present invention provides a conductive roller in which there is no film thickness unevenness at the end of the elastic layer and adhesion of foreign matter to the end of the roller. A method of manufacturing a conductive roller having at least one elastic layer 1 on an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical substrate 10 having shaft portions 11 at both ends. When forming the elastic layer 1 on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical substrate 10, the cylindrical substrate 10 having at least one end having a cutting margin 4 having the same outer diameter as the outer peripheral surface is used to cut the elastic layer 1. After coating and forming up to margin 4, cutting edge 4 and elastic layer 1 on cutting edge 4 are cut and removed. [Selection] Figure 2 |
