The present invention provides a method for preparing a biological specimen that can observe a sample in a state closer to a living body without changing the form or shape of the sample even after drying after dehydration. Tissues or cells collected from a specimen are dehydrated using ether alcohols or glycidyl ethers. Unlike conventional alcohol and acetone, the sample is not distorted or contracted after drying to change its shape or shape, thereby enabling more reliable pathological diagnosis.
