abstract | [PROBLEMS] A curing reaction proceeds with high sensitivity, the hardness of the obtained cured film is excellent, storage stability is good, and recording is possible with high sensitivity by infrared rays, excellent printing durability, and storage stability. Provided is a photo- or heat-polymerizable composition suitable as a recording layer for a lithographic printing plate precursor having good properties. An alkali-soluble polymerizable polymer having a structure represented by the general formula (I) in its side chain is contained. In the formula, X represents a radical polymerizable group, and A represents an alkali-soluble group. Q represents a hydrocarbon linking group, and when it does not contain a cyclic structure, the number of atoms from the terminal carbon atom of the unsaturated double bond in the radical polymerizable group X to the dissociated hydrogen atom of the alkali-soluble group A is 10 or less. Z 1 and Z 2 are a single bond or a hydrocarbon linking group, and P 1 to P 5 are a single bond or —NHCO—, —CO 2 —, —SO 3 —, —NHSO 2 —, —N <, —O. -Represents a linking group selected from the group consisting of-and -S-.
