To provide an optical filter for display that is easy to manufacture, lightweight and thin, has excellent electromagnetic shielding properties and antireflection properties, and hardly generates interference fringes. An optical filter for display, in which a mesh-like conductive layer and a hard coat layer are provided in this order on one surface of a transparent film, and a near-infrared absorbing layer is provided on the other surface. An intermediate layer is provided between the mesh-like conductive layer, and the intermediate layer has a refractive index in the range of 1.60 to 1.80 and a contact angle in the range of 70 to 100 degrees.
