titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of liquid crystal display element |
abstract | A main object of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display element by a liquid crystal dropping method using a ferroelectric liquid crystal having a high yield. The present invention relates to the ferroelectric liquid crystal coated on the first alignment film after setting the liquid crystal side substrate having the first alignment film to a temperature at which the ferroelectric liquid crystal exhibits a smectic phase. In the smectic phase state, the liquid crystal coating process for coating the ferroelectric liquid crystal on the first alignment film, the inspection process for inspecting the ferroelectric liquid crystal for coating defects, and the inspection process. When a coating defect is detected, a correction step of applying the ferroelectric liquid crystal to the defective portion on the first alignment film by a discharge method, a liquid crystal side substrate coated with the ferroelectric liquid crystal, and The object is achieved by providing a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display element, comprising a substrate bonding step of bonding a counter substrate having a second alignment film.
