abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide excellent mechanical properties, no elution of heavy metal compounds or generation of harmful gases at the time of disposal, and the reuse of the coating material. An object of the present invention is to provide a flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition having both properties and flexibility and a molded article such as a wiring material using the same. SOLUTION: (a) Hydrogenated product of copolymer mainly composed of aromatic vinyl compound and conjugated diene compound, (b) Non-aromatic rubber softener, (c) Polypropylene resin, (d) Ethylene type (E) A thermoplastic resin component (A) containing a predetermined amount of a polyolefin resin modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid (A) 100 parts by mass of a phosphate having a specific general formula as component (B) A flame-retardant thermoplastic resin composition containing 20 to 140 parts by mass of a compound, a molded article coated with the composition, a cable, and a molded part molded from the composition.
