titleOfInvention | Cast bio-remodelable graft |
abstract | A cast bioremodelable graft (22) comprising a cast tubular structure (33) of bioremodelable material (34). A bioremodelable material is cast or applied onto a mold and then vacuum pressed to dry or cure the material. An expandable member (18) is placed on, in, below or near the cast tubular structure to expand it when the graft is released from the intraluminal delivery system. A second layer (39) can be applied over the first layer (38) and the expandable stent to encapsulate the stent between them without the need for separate adhesive means. The graft is dehydrated and preferably vacuum pressed to cure the bioremodelable material. The mold is removed to form one or more lumens (23, 25) in the graft and then the graft is attached to the intraluminal delivery system. |
