A biocompatible crosslinked gel is provided. The present invention relates to crosslinking a predetermined amount of at least one liquid biocompatible polymer, performing a crosslinking reaction, adding a certain amount of a cross-linking agent, a further amount of 500,000. Adding a higher molecular weight liquid polymer than Dalton, dissolving the reaction mixture in such a way as to reduce the total concentration of the liquid polymer, cross-linking, and stopping the cross-linking reaction by discharging the cross-linking agent.
