The present invention provides a method for producing a hydrocolloid that can be effectively applied to skin, particularly to a damaged site. A first step of mixing an acrylic monomer and a photopolymerization initiator and irradiating the mixture with ultraviolet rays to produce a prepolymer having a viscosity of 200 cps to 10,000 cps; A second step of producing a composite by mixing a photopolymerization initiator and a superabsorbent material; and a third step of coating the produced composite on a substrate to be coated and then irradiating the composite with ultraviolet rays to polymerize the composite. Process. The produced hydrocolloid has excellent absorbability as well as self-adhesion, does not leave a residue when removed from the skin (damaged site), and does not use low molecular weight tackifiers, etc., and therefore has little skin irritation.
