abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a novel siloxane derivative. The siloxane derivative of the present invention has a compound having a branched siloxane structure and a main part. The siloxane derivative is preferably a dendritic polymer. The siloxane derivative is preferably a polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer with a compound as a main part. The main compounds are 1,1,3,3,3-pentamethyl-vinyldisiloxane, 1,1,3,3-tetramethyl-3-phenylvinyldisiloxane, 1,1,3-trimethyl- 3,3-diphenylvinyldisiloxane, trimethylvinylsilane, dimethylphenylvinylsilane, 1,3,3,5,5-pentamethyl-3,5-diphenylvinyltrisiloxane, and triethoxyvinylsilane were used. 1,1,3,5,5-pentamethyl-1,5-divinyltrisiloxane was used as the monomer.
