titleOfInvention Absorbent articles
abstract The present invention provides an absorbent article in which the crotch portion of an absorbent body does not expand uniformly in the width direction and the feeling of wearing is hardly deteriorated. An absorbent element (50) that receives and holds liquid that has passed through a top sheet (30) on the use surface side, and the absorbent element (50) includes an aggregate of filaments (52) that have opened tow and superabsorbent polymer particles (54). The absorbent body 56 includes a crotch portion, a front side portion of the crotch portion, and a rear side portion of the crotch portion, and is highly absorbed by the main absorbent portion 56C that is a portion other than both side portions 56S of the crotch portion. The absorbent article has the absorbent polymer particles 54 and the basis weight of the superabsorbent polymer particles 54 at both side portions 56S of the crotch portion is smaller than that of the main absorbent portion 56C.
