A method for synthesizing diamond and cubic boron nitride (c-BN) having an arbitrary shape is provided. A pulse laser is irradiated from multiple directions to graphite and hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) to create a high-temperature and high-pressure environment instantaneously and locally, and move the focal point position on the graphite and h-BN. By doing so, the synthesis point 5 is moved, and an arbitrarily shaped diamond and c-BN of the millimeter order are synthesized. Further, diamond and c-BN can be synthesized by laser irradiation, and diamond and c-BN can be coated. [Selection] Figure 2 |
