titleOfInvention Light modulation element
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light modulation element excellent in stability in which the behavior of a liquid crystal layer is prevented from becoming unstable due to elution of a resin paint component or the like in a light shielding layer into the liquid crystal. SOLUTION: The same visible image as an image carried by exposure light is obtained by stimulating both exposure light corresponding to image information and voltage applied between the pair of electrodes sandwiched between the pair of electrodes. A light modulation element to which an image is written, wherein the light having a voltage applied to the pair of electrodes and a photoconductive layer exhibiting an electrical characteristic distribution according to an intensity distribution of the exposure light by irradiation of the exposure light A partial pressure distributed according to the electrical property distribution of the conductive layer is applied, and a visible image is recorded according to the optical property distribution according to the partial pressure, and sandwiched between the photoconductive layer and the liquid crystal layer. A light-shielding layer formed at the position, and the light-shielding layer includes a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol. [Selection figure] None
