abstract | An electrophotographic photosensitive member and an electrophotographic image forming apparatus capable of suppressing deterioration of an image due to repeated use. According to the present invention, in an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising an undercoat layer, a charge generation layer, and a charge transport layer sequentially formed on a conductive support, the undercoat layer comprises a metal oxide, a binder resin. The charge generation layer includes a binder resin and a phthalocyanine charge generation material, and the charge transport layer includes an electrophotographic photosensitive member including a charge transport material, a binder resin, and a thermal stabilizer, and the electrophotographic photosensitive member. An electrophotographic image forming apparatus having a body is provided. This electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a specific combination of heat stabilizers in the undercoat layer and the charge transport layer, and uses a combination of a butadiene-based amine compound and a hydrazone-based compound or a benzidine-based compound as the CTM of the charge transport layer. As a result, light fatigue resistance and thermal fatigue resistance are improved, and image degradation due to repeated use can be suppressed. [Selection] Figure 1 |
