(A) Halogenated isobutylene elastomer, (B) polyamide and (C) dispersion aid are melt mixed and the resulting blend is dynamically cross-linked so that the halogenated isobutylene elastomer has a volume average dispersion diameter Dv2. A method of controlling the dispersion size of an elastomer in a thermoplastic elastomer composition having improved durability and impermeability comprising obtaining a dynamically cross-linked blend dispersed at less than 0 μm. |
