Disclosed is an eukaryotic cell expression vector comprising a gene encoding a protein of interest and a gene encoding a fluorescent protein in functional association with a hamster ubiquitin / S27a promoter. Preferably, the expression vector also contains an amplifiable selectable marker gene. Also disclosed is a method of selecting host cells, preferably mammalian cells, and cells with high productivity transfected with the expression vector. |
