Provided are a binder having excellent elasticity and adhesive strength, an electrode employing the binder, a method for producing the same, a binder composition, and a lithium battery employing them. A polyurethane polymer compound dispersed in water is used to improve adhesion, and a polymer compound having excellent dispersion characteristics is cured by a crosslinking reaction, thereby improving elasticity and adhesion. The electrode is capable of adjusting the force. Thereby, the battery which employ | adopted this electrode can have the improved restoring force and charging / discharging characteristic.
