PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroless gold plating solution or an electrolytic gold plating solution excellent in plating running stability. Also, to provide a gold sulfite aqueous solution for gold plating solution for obtaining a gold plating solution having excellent plating running stability. An aqueous gold sulfite solution for a gold plating solution containing gold sulfite and a sulfite and having a particle increase rate of 20% or less is obtained by using an electroless gold plating solution or a gold of an electrolytic gold plating solution.
