PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic waste treatment method and treatment equipment capable of reducing sludge volume without increasing ammonia and phosphorus load to biological treatment equipment due to inflow of treatment liquid containing solubilizing components. . A biological treatment facility 12 for biologically treating organic waste 20 and a solubilization facility 13 for solubilizing a biological treatment liquid 21 after the biological treatment to obtain a solubilized sludge 23 are provided.
