abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide (1) an allophanate group; (2) a group that reacts with an ethylenically unsaturated compound upon exposure to actinic radiation (a radiation curable group); and (3) optionally NCO. The present invention provides a method for producing a binder containing a reactive group; and a binder obtained by the method. The method of the present invention comprises: (A) one or more NCO functional compounds containing uretdione groups, (B) one or more compounds containing an isocyanate-reactive group and a radiation-curable group; (C) one or more saturated hydroxyl-containing compounds other than (B), wherein at least one of these compounds has an OH functionality of ≧ 2. (D) in the presence of a catalyst containing one or more zinc compounds, By reacting at a temperature of ≦ 130 ° C. and reacting with compound (C) at least in proportion to the formation of allophanate groups.
