PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expensive pavement plastic composition (pavement binder, asphalt modifier, etc.) capable of processing a large amount of waste PET as low as possible and having desired characteristics. SOLUTION: One or two or more polyhydric alcohols and / or sugars and waste PET are subjected to ester reaction in the presence of a catalyst.
