abstract |
【Task】 The present invention is intended to provide a functional coating film excellent in the ability to adsorb and decompose malodorous substances such as acetaldehyde and a method for producing the same. [Solution] The functional coating film of the present invention is characterized in that activated carbon having a particle diameter of 1 to 30 μm formed by adsorbing and supporting a titanium oxide photocatalyst is fixed to a fiber fabric via a binder. Such a functional coating film is produced by mixing activated carbon having a particle size of 1 to 30 μm in a sol obtained by dispersing a titanium oxide photocatalyst having a particle size of 15 to 100 nm in water in a range of 10 to 30 parts by weight. Then, after adsorbing and supporting 4 to 20% by weight of the titanium oxide photocatalyst with activated carbon on the activated carbon, the binder is then added and mixed to adjust the coating liquid.
