abstract |
A method for synthesizing fluorine-containing alkylsulfonylaminoethyl α-substituted acrylates suitable for production on an industrial scale is provided. An α-substituted acrylic acid halide is reacted with a salt of aminoethanol to obtain a salt of aminoethyl α-substituted acrylate (first step). When the obtained aminoethyl α-substituted acrylate salt or aminoethyl α-substituted acrylate obtained by neutralizing it with a base is reacted with a fluorine-containing alkylsulfonic acid halide or a fluorine-containing alkylsulfonic acid anhydride, Thus, the desired fluorine-containing alkylsulfonylaminoethyl α-substituted acrylate can be obtained smoothly (second step). According to the present invention, the intended fluorine-containing alkylsulfonylaminoethyl α-substituted acrylates can be produced in a significantly higher yield and smoothly than in the prior art.
