PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex composite material in which an organometallic complex is stably adsorbed on a mesoporous material with a sufficient adsorption amount and can achieve excellent catalytic activity for an oxidation reaction or the like. A complex composite material comprising a mesoporous material and an organometallic complex adsorbed on the mesoporous material, wherein the organometallic complex is selected from the group consisting of iron, ruthenium and manganese. A complex composite material comprising an asymmetric binuclear complex comprising a metal and an asymmetric ligand having a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic skeleton containing 1 to 4 nitrogen atoms.
