A chemical treatment method for contaminated soil capable of reducing a part of the stepwise treatment process of reduction treatment of complex contaminated soil. In the case of chemical treatment of complex contaminated soil with arsenic, lead, cadmium, etc., a reducing agent, carbonate, and solidifying material containing sodium thiosulfate, sodium carbonate and thiourea are simultaneously added to the soil and mixed. Each drug is preferentially reacted with an affinity substance, insolubilized at once, and prevents or suppresses re-elution of the insolubilized substance in the soil even if it becomes alkaline by solidification.
