titleOfInvention | Method for increasing the area of stratum corneum cells |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for improving the skin barrier function by increasing and flattening the area of stratum corneum cells by chemical means such as administration of an external preparation for skin. SOLUTION: 1) A first agent containing α-hydroxycarboxylic acid, and 2) a second agent containing a base for neutralizing the α-hydroxycarboxylic acid. Using a skin external preparation kit, the first agent is treated for 1 to 20 minutes, and then the second agent is immediately neutralized. As the α-hydroxycarboxylic acid, glycolic acid can be suitably exemplified, and the content thereof is particularly preferably 1 to 60% by mass. [Selection figure] None |
