abstract Disclosed are high-density and spherical cobalt oxyhydroxide particles and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Cobalt oxyhydroxide particles according to the present invention are oxidized by adding an alkaline aqueous solution to a divalent Co salt aqueous solution and stirring, and contacting with air in the presence of an oxidation catalyst, to form precipitates as spherical particles.
