Disclosed is a polysaccharide cross-linked product that has almost no swelling after crosslinking, has the same size and shape as the mold used for production, and can be easily produced in a complex shape, and a method for producing the same. Disclosed is a polysaccharide cross-linked product that can adjust the degradation time and is useful as a scaffold for sustained release of functional substances such as drugs and regenerative medicine, and a method for producing the same. A method for producing a crosslinked polysaccharide, in which an aqueous solution of a polysaccharide having a carboxyl group is freeze-dried and crosslinked with a condensing agent, and obtained by this method.
